POSITION SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, the Business Intelligence Developer will participate in the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions for the organization, helping to build the infrastructure and tools required to support and improve business operations and to achieve data reporting and analysis goals. Employees in this job class collaborate effectively with and support internal end-users, cross-functional software development teams, Database Administrators and Developers, and technical support teams to solve problems, implement new solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards of system availability and reliability.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. * Develops and distributes reports to internal and external customers for business decision making.
2. * Publishing reports via the Power BI service, managing them through distribution of apps and monitoring usage/data refreshes/security access.
3. * Develop templates and procedures for standardization of deliverables and development process.
4. * Develop user guides to educate users on system functionality and train them as required.
5. * Develop effective visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards with themes using latest features available in Power BI to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story.
6. * Works with end-users to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
7. * Perform testing and ad-hoc data queries as needed.
8. * Recommends enhancements and modifications to optimize business intelligence processes.
9 Participates in management reviews.
10. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three plus years of data collection and reporting with business analytics experience;
- Expert knowledge of contract analysis and interpretation, and the ability to incorporate new contracts into existing data visualizations;
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, multi-tasking, planning, and follow up skills;
- Effective oral and written communication skills using appropriate business English;
- Demonstrated organizational, common sense and problem-solving skills;
- Human relation skills to build effective relationships with team and customers;
- Effective customer service skills;
- Advanced computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software;
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau;
- Advanced Experience with MySQL or SQL Server; writing queries, developing stored procedures, etc;
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to document information accurately;
- Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors- Business Administration or related field

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise. Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
