POSITION SUMMARY:   

Under supervision of the Workforce Inclusion Compliance Manager, the Workforce Inclusion Compliance Auditor assists in providing quality assurance of services and consultation to ensure those provided services receive rehabilitation support services according to government regulations and licensing requirements. Employees in this job classification provide quality-related advisory services, case management support, internal training, and documentation audits. This job requires knowledge of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation (CARF), Department of Developmental Services, Department of Rehabilitation, and AbilityOne requirements; and the ability to conduct audits, document findings, and collaborate with the Compliance Manager on how to advise management on corrective actions.

 

 

TYPICAL DUTIES:  

1. *Assists with organizing and performing quality assurance activities, and serves as a consultant on matters related to compliance with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation (CARF), Department of Developmental Services, Department of Rehabilitation, AbilityOne, Community Care Licensing, and other standards;
2. *Conducts monthly internal audits and reports findings to management;
3. *Reviews work processes, practices, records, and documentation for adherence to regulations and guidelines;
4. *Develops and implements programs and policies to ensure procedural compliance, and integrates new standards and regulations as they arise, and ensures that they are understood;
5. *Trains Workforce Inclusion direct support professionals and managers on reporting and licensing requirements, outcome measurement, Workforce Inclusion policies and accessibility;
6. *Collects quality data, compiles statistics, analyzes and reports findings, and coordinates problem resolution;
7. *Collaborates with other departments to develop trainings that align with accreditation and other standards.
8. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

· Three or more years of experience in a field that specializes in the needs of persons with disabilities;
· Intermediate to advance computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software;
· Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, and written;
· Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems;
· Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with staff and customers;
· Demonstrate mathematical skills including the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations;
· Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility.

 

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Bachelors in Health & Human Services or related field
A comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered.

 

 

CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:  

The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:


Valid Driver's License

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
 
•Viewing computer screen/monitor
•Keyboarding
•Receiving and making calls

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

Work is performed in a hybrid environment, including an office environment, customer worksite, and community environments with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise. Frequent local travel is required.
