POSITION SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Technical Program Manager – Power/Electrical Systems will provide independent review and cross-program coordination to ensure our process and support is best managed and integrated to the most efficient process to ensure the effective delivery of all preventive maintenance equipment. Employees in this job class are responsible for the effective operational delivery of service, training and development of field staff, business development within the vertical, financial success of associated portfolios, and strategic input to the systems, programs. This job class requires a strong background in electrical engineering or the practice of the electrical trade within the commercial/industrial equipment and systems and be able to evaluate manufactured equipment of those systems to assure the capacity, reliability, serviceability, and efficiency of those systems meet Title 24 standards.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. * Develops competitive program solutions for delivery of building electrical systems, including but not limited to, ATS automatic transfer switches, backup and stand by generator systems for existing and new customers.
2. * Has in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure, and manage the crafts associated with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of those systems.
3. * Supervises employees; ensures a competent, motivated team through hiring, training, development, counseling and reviewing the performance of employees.
4. Maintain strong integration & communication with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure lessons learned are integrated into current and future facilities.
5. * Manages and audits design services that are existing or performed by consultants including preparing RFP scope and independent cost estimates, critical reviewing of proposals, negotiate costs, to ensure schedule/budget performance.
6. * Audit facilities systems performance as well as systems operational issues/impacts to provide processes or system changes that can provide meaningful value.
7. * Provide estimating and pricing detail related to electrical and power generation systems to capture market opportunities.
8. * Possess creative writing skills to align proposals with client needs and PRIDE’s capabilities in the service offering.
9. * Manage a distributed technical field staff effectively and coordinate service delivery with both internal and external customers.
10. * Perform market research and analysis. Monitor internal and external for growing customer portfolio and development of new service opportunities.
11. * Coordinate activities across multiple lines of business to create effective positioning strategies.
12. * Transition new business opportunities into full capture; bid and proposals that result in revenue producing business to support corporate growth.
13. * Support the creation of accurate projections regarding financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
14. * Stay abreast of changing regulations, codes, and other factors influencing service delivery.
15. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Journeyman level experience in the electrical industry with ten years of journeyman level experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of basic facilities code such as National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA), and Local Building codes;
- Experience writing detailed plans and procedures (operating, maintenance, testing);
- Experience using project management skills, including planning/estimating, risk management, and communication management;
- Knowledge of private, commercial, and non-federal public markets;
- Supervisory skills to hire qualified employees, provide for their professional development, administer performance management and disciplinary processes effectively, and address employee relations appropriately;
- Ability to effectively supervise and develop assigned team to meet strategic goals;
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to make presentations and respond to inquiries by senior management, customers, employees and public;
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills;
- Human relations skills to build effective relationships with team, customers and public;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Advanced computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software;
- Knowledge of business English including vocabulary, spelling, and correct grammatical usage and punctuation;
- Mathematical skills to include the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations;
- Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of business, operational and strategic management problems;
- Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors- Electronic Engineering or related field
CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:
The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:
Valid Driver's License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
• Viewing computer screen/monitor
• Keyboarding
• Answering phone/making calls
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise. Frequent travel is required. Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
