POSITION SUMMARY:   

Under minimal supervision, the Business Intelligence (BI) Director leads PRIDE Industries’ Data Analytics and Business Intelligence team to provide actionable insights that drive efficiency, innovation, and informed decisions, enabling the company to adapt, grow, and excel. Employees in this job class are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions that align with operational and growth goals. This job class requires knowledge of advanced data analysis, visualization, high-level expertise in BI processes and practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership to drive organizational improvements.

 

 

TYPICAL DUTIES:  

1. * Plan, organize, and oversee BI projects that provide actionable data for operational and financial decision-making.
2. * Manage and enhance the BI architecture, including tools like SQL Server, Fabric Lakehouse, and Fabric Data Warehouse.
3. * Oversee end-to-end data workflows, from ETL processes to advanced reporting and analytics.
4. * Deliver impactful dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reports using Power BI to support leadership in telling data-driven stories.
5. * Collaborate with the Finance department to provide the technical support for budgeting and forecasting.
6. * Partner with business stakeholders to understand information needs and deliver relevant, high-quality insights.
7. * Promote data literacy and a culture of self-service analytics by providing user training and creating clear user guides.
8. * Collaborate with IT to ensure data quality and security.
9. * Hire, train, and develop a high-performing BI team; establish goals, monitor performance, and maintain accountability.
10. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of experience in business analytics, data reporting, and BI.
• Five or more years of experience in a supervisory leadership role.
• Specific experience in Finance FP&A
• Proven ability to lead BI teams and deliver measurable results through end-to-end BI solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in BI tools and technologies, including:
-Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate
-SQL Server
-Fabric Data Factory, Fabric Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse\
• Strong project management, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical audiences and to present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with an emphasis on data accuracy and integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships across departments and foster a collaborative, data-driven culture.
 

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Bachelors Business Administration or related field
Masters Business Administration or related field

 

 

CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:  

The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:

 

Valid Driver's License

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

 

• Viewing computer screen/monitor

• Keyboarding

• Answering phone/making calls

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

This is a hybrid role with work being performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise; or in a home office environment. Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
