There are no direct reports with this position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under close supervision, the Contracts Administration Clerk performs a variety of responsibilities in assisting in the administration of government and commercial contracts. Employees in this job class provide customer service to internal stake holders, records management, and data entry for contract performance. This job requires knowledge of advanced administrative and organizational skills, the ability to coordinate work processes, design and format reports from database systems and apply specialized procedures.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. * Manages detailed and organized files.
2. * Manages department document storage systems such as SharePoint.
3. * Performs data entry activities and updates within 24 hours.
4. * Logs contract modifications and other related contract information.
5. * Supports and logs Subcontract data into contract management systems such as Deltek and SharePoint.
6. * Gathers, compiles and reports to support Contract Administration personnel.
7. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One of more year of related experience;
- Ability to be flexible and changing work priorities and handling numerous projects at the same time;
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from team, internal customers and others;
- Effective written communication skills using appropriate business English;
- Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with team;
- Intermediate computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software;
- Basic mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division;
- Demonstrated problem solving and common-sense skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.; Associate degree or Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
• Viewing computer screen/monitor
• Keyboarding
• Answering phone/making calls
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise.
